Shipping finance professionals with expertise in assessing market and counterparty risks pertaining to the offering of mortgages, loans and other credit facilities or financial products in relation to the acquisition of second-hand or newbuilding vessels; assessing market and counterparty risks pertaining to the offering of ship leasing contracts or products in relation to the leasing of second-hand or newbuilding vessels; conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis from financial and market information; providing a wide range of financial services to shipping companies.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, law, international shipping or related disciplines;
Possess of knowledge of international maritime law, marine insurances, shipping finance, ship brokerage or ship chartering, etc.; and
At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, shipping or transport sector in financial institutions, shipping companies, classification societies, marine consultancy companies, P&I clubs or shipyards.
